• Designed & executed a program impact study in consultation with Executive Director to measure how NatureKids BC’s programs affected children’s emotional wellbeing, curiosity towards nature, family cohesion, and leisure time behavior.
• Collected 6 stakeholder interviews, 40+ qualitative and 30+ quantitative survey responses in a 2-month timeframe. Mixed-methods design included semi-structured interviews, questionnaires, and quantitative surveys based on validated instruments.
• Analyzed data and delivered detailed project report written in layperson-accessible language for NatureKids BC staff to implement in future program designs and disseminate to interested stakeholders. Presented findings to a wide audience at the UBC “Research To Action: Urban Sustainability 2023” conference.
