Overview
• Collaborated with stakeholders at UBC Sustainability, UBC Food Services (UBCFS), Nature Positive Universities, and scholars at Oxford University to analyze the environmental impacts associated with UBCFS’ food procurement in the 2022 calendar year.
• Led data cleaning & organization process. Developed strategies to improve efficiency and streamline cleaning and analysis, identified methods to improve data organization, and created team guidelines for cases of ambiguity.
• Delivered a layperson-accessible infographic, a detailed project report, and a presentation to project stakeholders to help UBCFS make informed and sustainable decisions in future food procurement activities.
